Abledata Resource
Center - This is a data base of Assistive Technology, suggest you go
to
the 'search the data base' section and look for specific products.
Georgia Tech
Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access - Another
good
database of Assistive Technology, with searchable databases.
Cast Bobby - This is a site that
will test a web page for accessibility, that is, will someone who uses
special equipment be able to access the information easily.
International Information on Visual
Disability - This British web site is an information resource for
professionals who work in the field of visual disabilities. It has good
information on technology available for people with low vision.
Wynd Communications - WyndTell is a
two-way wireless service designed specifically for people who are deaf or
hard of hearing (but is very useful for everyone) located in San Luis
Obispo.

ADA Home Page - The place to go if you feel your rights have been
violated under the ADA.
Federal Communications
Commission Consumer Information Bureau, Disabilities Issues - The
FCC is supposed to makes sure that telecommunications equipment is
accessible to
people with disabilities.

This is part of President Bush's initiatives to help people with
disabilities "...break down barriers to equality."
Disability Rights Education and
Defense Fund Inc. - From their mission statement "DREDF is a
national law and policy center dedicated to protecting and advancing
the civil rights of people with disabilities through legislation,
litigation, advocacy, technical assistance, and education and training
of attorneys, advocates, persons with disabilities, and parents of
children with disabilities."
